Poor Cookie dog. While I do not remember any specific event, somehow she blew out her RR knee. Surprising to me, there was a vet over in the next county who specializes in canine knee repair.
She's still got five weeks of healing time. In a cage. In the house. Kim's coming home at lunch to walk her.
Cookie is a great family pet. I'll admit, though, that it is a new experience for me to pay for state-of-the-art surgery on a dog.
