Believe it has a 2hp motor but the pull rope cover is missing and there are no labels or numbers present anywhere else on tiller
Only say MINI TILL PARMI LYNN INDIANA. Tiller frame is only about 18 inches wide at most. Has chain drive and idler pulley that engages by lever below right handle. I'm stripping it down and repainting since has no structural damage anywhere. Well taken care of except for fact some parts were robbed off motor. But I plan on I stalling a vintage Briggs and Stratton 5 hp Golden Boy engine from an old lawn Edger also the golden boy runs like a chevy big block lol. Any info on the MINI TILL will be gratefully appreciated. Everything on it looks almost unused other than paint fade from being left outside for several years by a family member. The tires even still have the mold flashing around the middle of the tread. I just got tired of looking at it sitting in my basement while I worked 60 to 70 hours a week and never had time to fix it. So I am cleaning out my basement and it had to go. BummerJames L. It was cheap because the guy didn't understand carburetors. Rebuilt the carb and now it runs great. Drive belt is getting real worn so I’ll have to replace it soon. While I’m at it I might go ahead and replace the bearings. Thanks for your post. The motor was beyond repair, since it was missing the carb, fuel tank and a stuck valve. I finally found a replacement BS 5HP just yesterday that I picked up for 40.00. I'm going out today to get a pulley for the motor shaft since the old one is rust on the old motor and also bent.
Reading your writeup I noticed on my LB that the drive belt is also coming off the pulley so I may also need to get two pillow block bearings for it. I was wondering if you'd be interested in selling 2 of your stock of bearings since you mentioned that the company has a 50 minimum purchase? I'm located in Richmond, VA , if you're interested in selling me two, please contact me at (email removed)@comcast.net
Great job on your LB restoration, I can't wait to get mine running and tilling a garden out back.
JeffAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636559211255355046.post-73013039469183569322011-03-07T19:25:53.867-06:002011-03-07T19:25:53.867-06:00Not going to do it - I think Fred T.'s tiller ...Not going to do it - I think Fred T.'s tiller will leave me behind...TomWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13398573124082104796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636559211255355046.post-28807905934191598302011-03-07T18:19:58.195-06:002011-03-07T18:19:58.195-06:00If you get my TroyBuilt going, you could have roto...If you get my TroyBuilt going, you could have rototiller races and digging competitions!Stevenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1636559211255355046.post-38963106588409001272011-02-11T16:27:19.692-06:002011-02-11T16:27:19.692-06:00Job well done!!!Job well done!!!crowldawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17955266665307379004noreply@blogger.com
